Students Supporting Students
When Paul transferred to Chadwell Elementary after his mother passed away, the adjustment wasn’t easy. But even in the middle of his own challenges, Paul has found ways to care deeply for others.
This year, a new younger student arrived at Chadwell and was struggling to settle in. The cafeteria, especially, felt overwhelming and unfamiliar. Paul didn’t wait to be told what to do—he jumped in. Every day, he helps guide the younger student through the lunch line, makes sure he’s taken care of, and sits with him so he doesn’t feel alone. At dismissal, Paul walks him to the bus and helps him get on safely.
Those small, consistent acts have added up to something big: the younger student is more confident, more communicative, and smiling more each day. Paul’s quiet leadership has made a lasting impact on his classmates, and on his school community.
This is what it looks like when students support each other—and it’s a reminder that sometimes the most meaningful interventions are simple acts of kindness. 💙 #AllInForKids
