Zara's Leap Forward

Zara, a senior at Hancock County High School, is setting the bar high and helping others along the way. She worked closely with her #CISTN program manager, Ms. Lindsey, to stay focused on her dual enrollment courses - especially Composition I and II. Together, they also explored college and career options, and Zara remained laser-focused on her future. That hard work paid off: Zara recently received a composite ACT score of 24 on her very first attempt! 🎉

But her success hasn’t stopped at the classroom door. Zara has also made time to support younger students - helping middle school girls pick out dresses for their upcoming formal and organizing prom dress donations for her peers.

As she considers joining the National Guard and working toward a law degree, we’re proud to celebrate Zara’s dedication, leadership, and heart for others.
